I had an idea the other day, not a new idea, not one that has never been used before, but one that has been tried, tested and successful. As a matter of fact, our government was built on the model, but seems to have strayed away from it.
My proposal is to bring REAL Americans, REAL Citizens, REAL Leaders together for a conference. Leaders from large, medium and small business; community leaders; charity spokespersons; and religious leaders, among many others, will be invited to come together and discuss the issues facing our states & nation - from a real, experience-oriented perspective.
At the proposed weekend-long conference, The Experience Conference, issues will be introduced & possible solutions will be discussed at intimate, small group tables with each person having a chance to voice his or her experiences and ideas.
Without getting too detailed, I believe that an event of this caliber, with this intent & focus will be a keystone event where policies and laws will be written and government will be managed - BY THE PEOPLE.
